Health & Safety

At BCS we offer a written Health & Safety policy with full details of all the arrangements to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all our employees and any other “persons” that may be affected by our services.

We pride ourselves on our rigourous adherence to all aspects of Health & Safety. Risk Assessments, COSHH requirements, maunual handling procedures, portable appliance testing and accident reporting are amongst the many areas we monitor to ensure full compliance with all aspects of Health & Safety legislation.

Quality

The consistent delivery of a high quality, value for money service is dependent on regular, accurate monitoring of service standards and our regular Quality Inspections are designed to measure all aspects of our performance. Our Management Team carry out regular inspections which are followed by a Quality Control Report.

Staff

Before being employed on a contract, prospective BCS staff have to pass our strict vetting procedure. Each person must provide at least two forms of identification, proof of right to work in the UK, proof of National Insurance and their address (which must not be less than three months old). A CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) will be applied for if required. All staff are issued with a BCS uniform and carry an identification badge which must be worn at all times on site.

BCS Services use an ISYS telephone “Time and Clocking” system whereby all staff “clock in” and “clock out” on their specific contracts. This enables us to ensure that the correct working hours are being delivered to the contract.

Sustainability

BCS Services are committed to protecting the environment wherever possible to standards equivalent to ISO1401 but tailored to our requirements, offering “green” sustainable products and by operating recycling systems in our own premises and actively promoting these to our Clients.
